A week of Russian cinema will be held in Brazil and Mexico. Interfax reports this with reference to the Roskino website.
In Mexico, the week will run from September 23 to October 17. In Brazil – from September 16 to October 10. The organizing platforms are Spaice and Filmin Latino.
As part of the festival, residents of South American countries will be able to watch eight Russian films free of charge, including the latest releases from the past season. The previous “week” was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. For the first time in the history of the event, along with feature films, the program will also feature documentaries and cartoons.
Among the main novelties – “Fight”, “On the edge”, “Doctor Lisa” and others. The event is organized by Roskino in order to strengthen cultural ties between peoples.
