Iran blackmails US ahead of new nuclear deal World News

Iran is putting pressure on the United States of America with the threat of developing atomic weapons. This is reported by RBC with reference to the American edition of The New York Times.
In early spring, the nuclear industry of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) began producing highly enriched uranium, which can be used to create a full-fledged nuclear weapon.

Independent American experts agree that, while maintaining the current development rate, Iran will be able to create its first own nuclear warhead by the end of September 2021. The country already has short-range delivery vehicles. The greatest threat to Israel is the presence of such weapons.

The researchers came to such conclusions after analyzing a new report of the International Organization for the Control of the Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (IAEA). In early April, Iranian spokesman Abbar Arakchi notified the organization that the country will now enrich uranium to 60% instead of 20%. This was done in response to the “nuclear provocation” that took place, according to the Iranian authorities, at the nuclear center in Natanz. It is curious that this happened on the eve of negotiations on a new nuclear deal between Iran and the United States.
