Argentine scientists have released a report on the effectiveness of the use of the Russian Sputnik Light vaccine among the elderly. About this with reference to the message of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) reports the publication Novosti.
The study was conducted over a month among older people aged 60 to 79 years in the province of Buenos Aires. The authors are 11 employees of the capital’s hospitals, as well as scientists from the National Research University of La Plata. The study showed that the effectiveness of the Russian simplified vaccine against various forms of coronavirus among the elderly is 83.7%, which is higher than the indicators of some two-component vaccines.
